Health class
 If your last name begins with A through M,
select 1st semester PE (50111) and 2nd
semester Health (50110). If you plan to be
in marching band, select first semester
Health (50110) and second semester PE
(50112).
 If your last name begins with N through Z or
you plan to be in Marching Band, select first
semester Health (50110) and second
semester PE (50112).
 If you are placed in special education
health*, select 59111 and 59112 plus one
additional semester of PE (50111 or 50112).

Middle School
Counselors will meet with the
entire 8th grade class,
tomorrow, February 5 to
distribute registration materials.
Students and Parents can begin
to enter course requests on
February 7.
Counselors will return to the
middle school on February 14 to
check the computer entries and
collect registration sheets.
Recommendation Letters
 A mailing will be sent from the Middle
School with recommendations for
each student in English, Math,
Science, and Social Studies on March
7, 2008.
 Select those classes you wish to
enroll in and the necessary
modifications will be made after
March 7. Do not ask for or expect a
decision until March regarding
English, Math, Science or Social
Studies placement.
Directions for
Completing Registration
 Students will be selecting courses for next year online, at
home, beginning February 7.
 Make sure you select at least 12 credits entered under
“courses requested”.
 To begin the process, you will log onto the Family
Access page using either the parent or student access.
Follow the steps on the next frame.
 Once in family access, you will need to change the tab at
the top of the page from the middle school to the high
school. Then the tab will appear for “08-09 scheduling”.

After all courses have been selected, go to
“selected” tab to verify choices.

Attach this to your registration sheet,
which must be signed by a parent

Final Directions
Please do not request your
“alternates” in online
registration. Write them in the
third column of the pink
registration page.
Attach a copy of your course
requests to your pink page (print
from your Skyward account).
