Offer students the opportunity to earn more
quality points towards their grade point average
than regular courses.
An “A” is worth 5 points, “B” is worth 4 points
and a “C” is worth 3 points towards the student’s
GPA.
Content of the course is more rigorous and
challenging in pacing as well as depth of topics
covered.

Offer students the opportunity to earn more
