– People were willing to listen to him
Called Germans the Master race
– Blue eyed and blond hair though his was dark
Resulted in the extermination of
approximately 6 million Jews

Most “popular” method of extermination was the
gas chamber
– Though many died from malnutrition and neglect
– Many were placed in forced labor camps
Devastated many European Jewish communities
– Many emigrated to the U.S.
– Jews longed for a place they could call their home land
