A.I. – Artificial Intelligence
Purpose
• To propose that Drexel University should host the
ACM SCENE 2005 event on February 19, 2005.
Objectives
•Educate prospective attendees on the conference theme : Artificial Intelligence
•Encourage local Philadelphia area students to share ideas related to the
conference theme & its application to industry
•Promote ACM Membership and Unisys Awareness
•Create Discussion between local ACM chapters
Create Contacts with local professionals
•Enjoy a day of lectures, food, and fun
Design Considerations
• Hope to gain interest in the ACM from all prospective attendees
•Directed towards entire academic community
•Assure that cost are minimized but not at the expense of quality
•Obtain written contracts with speakers 3 weeks before event
providing opportunity for review (January 29th, 2005)
•Provide final analysis report / attendees survey with future ACM
events in mind
Why Drexel?

Yet, small enough for attendees to interact

PHASE I: DESIGN
• Create a list of acceptable lecture halls to hold the
conference
• Create a list of speakers that can relate to the theme of A.I
• Design Posters/ Flyers for approval
