Enrol with a CIM Accredited Study Centre
• A list of over 300 study centres world-wide can be found
on the CIM website
• A choice of study modes…part-time, intensive & online,
distance learning etc.
• Assessment is by work-based assignments and you
should be employed in a responsible marketing
capacity in order to complete these.

membership is awarded). There is only one way to register:

 Your study centre will inform you which units to enter

 There are 4 assessment sessions a year: March, June,
September, December. You must register for your
assessments before the deadline.

CPD stands for Continuing Professional Development
Free programme for CIM members – framework and incentive to record
training
 Proof that your knowledge is up-to-date
 First step towards achieving Chartered Marketer status
 As a studying member you get 35 hours
of CPD credit per year just for studying
your qualification. But…
 Registration for CPD is not automatic
you must either tick the CPD box when
you register online as a CIM member or
sign up at www.cim.co.uk/cpd or
fill in the paper application form
You can’t claim CPD retrospectively
so don’t forget to sign up at the start of your course
