Jennifer Cunningham
Jennifer Cunningham is the Director of Casino Marketing, Advertising, Sales, and
Entertainment for Circus Circus Reno. She joined Circus Circus in 2001 as Director of
Sales and moved into her expanded responsibilities in 2004. Jennifer is responsible for
the property marketing (casino & hotel), special events, advertising, convention and
group sales activities, and oversees the entertainment in the cabaret and midway.
Jennifer has an extensive background in domestic and international group and hotel
sales as well. She is a performance driven, decisive leader with the proven ability to
foster change, build consensus, create results and manufacture high performance teams.
Since taking over Casino Marketing, the department has had the highest carded handle,
the highest redemption on a promotion and the highest response on a direct mail piece.
This was accomplished along with a budget reduction of 6%.

Prior to Circus Circus, Ms. Cunningham served as Director of Tour & Travel Sales at both
the Peppermill and Silver Legacy, and as Director of Marketing for the RSCVA. With
more than 26 years of experience, she has long been an integral part of the Northern
Nevada gaming community.
A Reno native and active member in the community, Jennifer serves on the Executive
Board of Directors for the Education Alliance of Washoe County. She has held executive
board positions with the Washoe County Educational Foundation and Reno-Sparks
Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. She has received accolades as a “Woman of
Achievement” nominee from the Nevada Women’s Fund and the 2006 ACE Award
“Marketer of the Year” recipient by the Reno-Tahoe American Marketing Association.
Jennifer holds a B.A. in Managerial Sciences, with a concentration in Finance from the
University of Nevada, Reno and a Master’s Degree in International Marketing from San
Francisco State University. Selected as an elite candidate, Jennifer spent a semester at
the Institute of International Studies in Vienna in addition to having worked at the United
Nations.
She spends most of her free time with her two children, Sage, who is an Eagle Scout and
avid golfer, and Evelyn, who is involved with 4-H and raises sheep. Jennifer’s hobbies
include travel, skiing, and golfing.
