Homework Assignment
1. Write down your favorite fast food meal.
2. Over the next 3 days do one of the following:
visit your favorite fast food restaurant and pick up a copy of their nutrition
facts sheet.
visit your favorite fast food restaurant website to identify your favorite
meat.
3. Note the number of calories in your favorite meal and the number of
calories from fat.
4. Also note the availability of fruits, vegetables, whole grain products and
low-fat daily options at your fast food restaurant
5. Using the information you discover, plan a fast food meal you would enjoy
that is low in fat and contains foods from all of the food groups.
