We have learnt about how volcanoes get their source
of molten rock – called magma (underground0 and
lava(above ground) – through faults in the rocks
beneath the earth. We will be making a volcano and
labelling it’s features in class.
Task:
I would like you to do some
research about the volcano eruption at Mount St.
Helens, in the USA.
You can choose how you want to display your work
here are some example;
1.
a timeline of events leading to the eruption.
2.
a FULLY labelled diagram of the Mount St. Helens volcano
3.
A newspaper report of the event.
4.
An explanation text of the event.
5.
a fact-file of details about Mount St. Helens
