The way it starts is the big rain
cloud travels towards the
mountains and causes bogs what
will hurry to the nearest sea.
The source is the start of the river
the source of a river is found in the
hills or big mountains.
A river can have more than one
source. The source is where a
river begins its journey.
We can also do other things out of
the water that travels from the
Source of the river when it gets
into the machines deep in the
Ocean and then we can do things
like wash the pots have a bath or
shower.
Tributaries
• A Tributary is a river that
flows or travels to a larger
place like the sea .
• Just like the river Severn
travels to the sea .
• When the water is
travelling it makes it own
way there by removing
stones and rocks in its
way.
Meanders
• A meander is a looping
bend in the river normally
in the lower area of the
water.
• The meander changes
shape of the outside of
the waters bank the
meander is formed were
the river bends to a
looping shape.
The Mouth
• The mouth is the end
of the river were the
river has travel all the
way to the end, and
normally to the ocean
• The mouth is near the
sea because the river
water will let loose
into the sea .
The Seven Bore
• The seven bore is a
big wave that sweeps
under the river and it
flows up the river
instead of flowing
down, but it only flows
up stream when the
tides are high and can
go up to 820ft.
