Introduction
• Rocks are very interesting (did you know
that if there were no rocks in the world we
would not be living on earth.) There are
three main different types of rocks there is
igneous ,sedimentary and the last type of
rock is metamorphic. Rocks are very
interesting and my power point
presentation will tell you more interesting
points about rocks.
Igneous
Igneous rocks are interesting
,they are also called fire rocks
they are formed
rocks under or above
ground magma under ground
gets trapped ,cools down
And becomes igneous.
Metamorphic
Metamorphic rocks that have
morphed into a different rock the
rocks were either sedimentary or
igneous
rocks are under tons of
Pressure and heat
Up causing them to change.
Sedimentary
Sedimentary rocks are formed by
millions of tiny peaces of rocks
eroded and worn away by rain and
wind this is
called weathering the
Pieces of rock gathered
And squashed until it's a
Rock.
Message from Mr Manson
• Your story is probably a little too short and
could use more information Martin
• Some nice presentation and structure but
try not to over pack too much information
onto one slide
• I always like to see the things I say in
class being repeated back to me!
