1 Report
 IPCC with United Nations Environment
Programme reports with >90%
approval of member scientists:
Humans cause Global Warming.
 According to the United States Environmental
Protection Agency: “The major greenhouse
gases emitted by human activities remain in the
atmosphere for periods ranging from decades to
centuries.” A 0.7 to 1.5 degrees Fahrenheit
temperature change was reported in the 20th
century in both hemispheres. Global
atmospheric concentrations of carbon dioxide,
methane and nitrous oxide have increased
markedly as a result of human activities since
1750 and now far exceed pre-industrial values
determined from ice cores spanning many
thousands of years (Goering 2007).
Consequences:

Number of 4 and 5 hurricanes has almost
doubled in the last 30 year.

The flow of ice Glaciers in Greenland has more
than doubled over the past decade.

The Arctic Ocean could be without ice in
summer 2050.

More than million species could be driven to
extinction by 2050.

Time to Act!
 We spent 8760 hours a year, it will take
only 45 minutes to plant one tree, which
will absorb one ton of carbon dioxide
over its lifetime.
 Replacing one regular light bulb with a
compact fluorescent light bulb will save
150 pounds of carbon dioxide.
