Welcome
Want to have some fun?
Somewhere you can bring the
children on a sunny Saturday
afternoon? Well, you’ve found
the right place! Welcome, to
the Cellfield Zoo, where fun
and entertainment never end!
Explore our zoo where we all
work together just like a cell!
Information Center
• Did you lose a kid or
valuable belonging? Well,
then just mosey on over to
the Information Center.
Here, we are the main
control center just like a
nucleus in a cell. The job
of the nucleus is to control
everything that goes on in
the cell. The Information
Center runs the whole zoo
all in that little building!
Trolley
• Tired of walking everywhere? Feet sore?
Just hop onto the trolley where we will
transport you to where ever you want in
the zoo! Just like the ER in a cell, whose
job is to transport protein throughout the
cell, our handy-dandy trolley system will
take you where your heart desires!
Garbage
• Here at the Cellfield zoo, we are very
strongly against littering. There are
many garbage cans throughout the zoo
which you can use to dispose of garbage
just like the lysosomes in a cell. The job
of lysosomes is to be the internal
digestive system, disposing of all unneeded material in a cell. So don’t be
mean, keep your environment clean!
Restaurants
• Are you hungry after all that fun? Well
come right in to our restaurants located in
the zoo. Just like ribosomes in a cell, our
restaurants will make you wonderful food,
or proteins, to satisfy you. The job of
ribosomes is to make proteins, and our
restaurant’s job is to make you food! So
hungry? Why wait!
Security
We have very high security
standards here at the Cellfield zoo.
Just like the cell wall in a plant
cell, we will provide you with
support and protection. Our zoo
wall is also part of our security
system, which forms an outermost
boundary for the zoo, and also for
a plant cell. So when you come in,
just relax, our security system is
great- and that’s a fact!
Admissions Office
• Wondering how to get into the zoo?
Go buy a ticket at the Admissions
Office near the Information Center.
Just like the cell membrane in a cell,
the Admissions Office will decide
who centers and leaves the zoo or
cell. So don’t delay- get your ticket
today!
Chefs
• Worried that our restaurants will not be
good for your taste? Well worry no more,
we have wonderful chefs that will make you
the best food. Just like chloroplasts in a
plant cell that make food from
photosynthesis, our chefs will serve you
food in any of our delicious restaurants. So,
bon appetite!
Water Tower
• Wondering what that tall
building standing in the
middle of our zoo is?
That’s our beautiful water
tower which holds water
for the animals that live in
the zoo. Just like a
vacuole, it holds the water
until we need it. A
vacuole is the storage
place for a cell and also
holds a cell together.
