Co-Finance
 Co-finance is an issue in the region
 GEF is flexible on the issue of co-finance and baseline
costs
 GEF Trust Fund provides finance for the incremental
costs
 Agency should help to provide and identify cofinance
opportunities

Lessons Learned-So Far
 What have we learned so far?
 From GEF Perspective – (i)Need more planning,
coordination and consultation at the beginning of the
programme between all of the agencies, countries and
GEF (ii) Need to link GEF –PAS to other activities in the
region. Enhance cooperation, synergies etc
 What have you learned? How can we improve? How
can we support you in a better way ? How do we move
forward in GEF5?
