Resolution paper
Prepare a proposed resolution paper which:
1. summarises the climate change issue in your country
2. states a proposal for global action and targets.
This paper
• should be no more than 1 side of A4 and follow a specific format
• must be seconded by a delegation from another country
• must be submitted to the UN Council by 11:35.
You will have a briefing sheet to help you

Developing questions on another
country’s resolution
Make sure you now have:
• the name of the country that you’ll be questioning
• the country’s resolution paper to help you develop
questions.
Think about the different viewpoints of your country and
the country you are questioning. Ask questions about
the issues you disagree about.
You have 25 minutes to prepare at least one question for
your designated country.
