phenomena and abrupt change of weather

River Basin”

OBJECTIVES
• to improve the safety standards in environmentendangering industries and thus to minimize the
admission of water-endangering substances into
the Dniester River
• to build a transboundary warning and alarm system
and thus to minimize the potential after-effects of
incidents.

Safety of industrial sites - safety of water
1. Identification and registration of hazardous sources
Risk degree analysis in hazardous industrial zones:
• development of registers on qualitative and quantitative state of
the water basins
• development of registers on hazardous substances used in various
industrial sectors
2. Development and implementation of the appropriate rules and
regulations
3. Ensuring adequate funding
4. Adoptation of international and EU good practices in imergency
planning and industrial safety
5. Implementation of commitments in accordance with international
agreements
