• Act as national focal point for CDM and JI
• Conduct domestic & international outreach
• Facilitate Canadian participation
– Provide technical guidance to companies
– Conclude bilateral agreements with key countries
• Offset Project Transaction Costs (Feasibility studies,
Baseline/Monitoring Plans, PDDs, Registration, Verification)
• Approve Canadian participation
• Analytical studies and input into negotiations
