Thailand's Position
Convention
• Thailand Signed the UNFCCC in June 1992
at UNCED and Ratified the UNFCCC in
December 1994; and
Kyoto Protocol
• Thailand signed the Kyoto Protocol in
February 1999 and Ratified in August 2002.

Cabinet Resolution on 10 September 2002
• The Government is aware of the climate
change problems;
• The Government will support the projects
which will contribute to the GHGs emission
reduction; and
• Each CDM project must be submitted to
the Cabinet for final approval.
