SUSTAINABILITY
Our choices have consequences.
What is sustainability?
Here is what Wikipedia says:
Sustain can mean “maintain",
"support", or "endure”.[3][4] Since
the 1980s sustainability has been
used more in the sense of human
sustainability on planet Earth .
Look at the following slides with
images from around our world,
and see what sustainability might
mean to you. Think about the idea
that we are all guardians of our
world.

What is sustainability?
Our planet Earth needs
protecting so that every human
being can live safely and
happily on it. To make sure that
we all have enough resources
to survive, we have to sustain
what the Earth can give us.
How can our choices make a
difference?
We can all help to sustain the
resources of our planet Earth by
making wise decisions every day of
our lives.
What if we don’t make wise
choices?
We will not be able to enjoy our
lives as much as we can. We may
not have the necessities of life.
How can we be Guardians?
We can decide to do our very best to
look after our planet Earth and make
choices in our lives that can help sustain
the resources we need to live.
