**If assignments are not turned in on time they will be completed in
study hall during recess and their behavior chart will be marked. A
percentage of the final grade will be deducted for each day an
assignment is turned in late.

• Communication between us is KEY in the success of your child!

as quickly as I can.

• Agenda – please check and sign agenda each night
• Behavior contract - Sign over the weekend
I am asking the children to be responsible and show you all communication and
papers that will go home in the Black Communication folder. Please help them to
remember this. All graded work will be in the folder. If something goes home that
does NOT have a grade on it, that work was completed together.

Wellness Wednesdays
➢ Our PTA Health & Wellness Committee encourages families to participate in Wellness
Wednesdays beginning next week. Students are encouraged to bring fresh fruit or veggies for
snack every Wednesday.
➢ Fruit donations are provided to one grade level each week.
➢ Our Partners in Education and other local businesses in our community are sponsoring this

Walk to School Days
➢ Our PTA Health & Wellness Committee encourages families to Walk to School together when
possible. Studies show that students are more ready to learn after 20 minutes of physical activity.
