We qualify as a school to receive federal funds
under the Elementary & Secondary Education Act
(ESEA) as amended by the No Child Left Behind
Act (NCLB), Title 1, Part.
Title 1 Program: School staff members work with
input from parents and community to develop a
plan, in order to upgrade our entire educational
program.
Title 1 eligibility is based on the enrollment of
students from low-income families.

Every parent receives a parent/student handbook
that outlines all of the rules and norms of Snyder
Middle School as well as the Bensalem School
District.
Our goal is to prepare students for BHS as they
progress towards young adulthood.
Attendance

Absent notes are due within 3 days upon the student’s
return (We do not use the “blue cards”)
Absences maybe declared as illegal/unexcused if absent
notes are not received within a 3 day grace period.
Students are late after 8:05 (3 lates = detention)
Pre-approved vacations during the school year maybe
approved for up to 5 days
