OBEREK
Oberek is Polish folk dance that
became in XVII century. The name
’’oberek’’ comes from rotation in Polish
( in Polish ,,to rotate’’ is ,,obracać się’’
so it’s really similar to ,,oberek’’ )
This dance has fast tempo and lively
melody. Oberek is in metre ¾ or 3/8.
Dancers turn over in one place or rotate
in the air. They move fast, lightly but
sometimes they must stamp very hard. I
think, that is one of the most beautiful
folk dances in Poland  .
