The SMI2G framework is for participants in
the European Secure Societies Research
Programme.
The aim is to further enlarge the
participation and secure success in the
European Secure Societies Research
Programme.
The events is co-organised by the
AeroSpace and Defence Industries
Association of Europe (ASD) and Eurotech
Security Research Group.
SMI2G is an Open Forum, focused around the mission
priorities of the FP7, to exchange views on potential
R&T proposals.
Participation from SMEs, Research & Technology
Organisations, Academia and Industries from all EU-27
and associated countries are welcome.
The Goal of the SMI2G meetings is to:
• Provide information on the First Secure Societies calls and enable
potential partners to have a common view on what is expected by
the European Commission
• Exchange information on initiatives for proposals (coordination)
• Exchange information on specific contributions to proposals as
partners
• Provide a networking opportunity to find partners in proposals

Short presentations with a focus on the content (idea, contribution) and the
role (coordinator, partner); maximum 2-3 minutes/four slides.

- Split-up in different groups for each topic
- Numbers of the different topics will be indicated on the walls
- Everybody has the opportunity to discuss potential consortia and potential
proposal ideas.

Reporting. For each topic one person is asked to report on the outcome of
the discussions.
