Sub-leaders

Expectations and Responsibilities
Growing Relationship
With Jesus Christ
Officers
President
• Oversee weekly meetings
• Oversee officers meetings and
coordinate with all officers and
sponsors regularly
• Start each meeting and introduce
speakers
• Welcome new members by name
• Schedule devotions and enlist
speakers for weekly meeting
Vice-President
• Covering duties when the president is
unavailable
• Public relations – contacting local
media to cover FCA events
• Coordinate with the sub-leaders
(except for the Historian)
Secretary
• Recording minutes of officers meetings
• Keeping FCA notebook updated throughout
year
• Periodically typing up notes from sponsors
to officers
• Collecting historical information such as
photos, dvds, flyers, brochures, etc. and
• Coordinating with the historian subleader to
organize them into a single unit.
Treasurer
• Collect dues
• Make members list and database (keepto-date)
• Keep accurate record of FCA account
• Count number in attendance at every
meeting and keep a record
• In charge of overseeing and assisting
sub-leaders
Recruiter
• Advertising for regular FCA meetings
and special events
• Organizing fundraising projects
• Coordinate Team Sports Recognitions
• Come up with ways to maintain and
increase attendance
Sub-Leaders
Media Coordinator
• Must be knowledgeable of PowerPoint
and/or Movie Maker to show weekly
announcements in a creative way and
occasional music lyrics, videos, etc.
• Must be able to do weekly updates to the
FCA web page.
• Will learn how to/and be responsible for the
start up the computer, CD’s, DVD’s,
microphones, etc. at beginning of meetings
each week in the theater.
• Will report to the Vice President
Music Coordinator
• In charge of music before meetings start
and after meetings end.
• Must be at meetings early – music should
start around 7:15am.
• In charge of scheduling music and bands
for music days.
• Will learn how to start up the computer,
CD’s, DVD’s, microphones, etc. in the
theater in case you need to work the
equipment.
• Will report to the FCA Vice-President
Historian
• Must be a good organizer.
• Needs to be creative.
• Collects items throughout the year (such as
papers, photos, minutes of officers
meetings, DVD’s, CD’s, etc) and files them
away until needed
• Will keep a record of the year in FCA
through pictures (taken by the FCA
Photographer) and through papers (from the
FCA Secretary and other officers)
• Will report to the FCA Secretary.
Photographer
• Make pictures (and possibly videos) of major FCA
events and some of FCA regular meetings.
• Attend at least one of each of the sporting events
(Men’s, Women’s, Varsity, and JV) during the year
to make pictures for the FCA sports highlight
days.
• Work with the FCA Recruiter, Media Coordinator,
Historian, President, Vice President, and the
sponsors to get pictures to appropriate people in a
timely manner.
• Must own and know how to use a good quality
digital camera and/or camcorder.
• Will report to the FCA Vice-President
Card Coordinator
• In charge of seeing that thank you notes are
written and sent out for guest speakers and
encouragement, sympathy, etc, cards are sent out
to faculty & staff as the need arises
• May possibly coordinate two or three others who
choose to help write notes
• Must have good handwriting, spelling, and writing
skills
• Pass along faculty & staff prayer concerns from
FCA sponsors to FCA officers.
• Must have a genuine care and concern for others
• Will report to the FCA Vice-President
