 Some instruments are only found in
Ireland

The Harp
The harp is a stringed
instrument that is
shaped like a triangle
 It is the national
symbol of Ireland

The Bodhran
The bodhran is an Irish drum made from
wood and goatskin
 One hand hits the drum with a stick while the
other is pressed on the other side to control
the pitch
 This is what it sounds like

The Uileann Pipes
Uileann means elbow
in Irish
 The uileann pipes are
bagpipes pumped by
bellows at the elbow
 Scottish bagpipes are
blown

