Medical Reserve Corps Do?
During a large-scale public health emergency,
the MRC supplements existing EMS;
extending its surge capacity with trained
volunteers:
Medical & Mental Health Professionals
Public Health & Social Workers
General Support Volunteers
How MRC Volunteers Help…



Train for disaster response
Learn how to set-up and operate a
Point-of-Dispensing (POD)
Help deliver medical and mental
health/social work services during
emergency sheltering operations.
