Rules of the Game

The question will be read aloud before being displayed on the screen.
You may buzz in prior to the end of the question; however, the hostess/host will stop reading the remainder of the
question.
The value of the question is deducted for an incorrect answer, after which your team is not allowed to buzz in again.
The question will be read again if not finished, from the beginning, and others may buzz in as soon as the system is
reset.
Once a player has buzzed in, they must answer the question in 5 seconds.
The answer must be stated in the form of a question. Example: This is the gold standard for diagnosing pulmonary
embolism. Answer: What is a pulmonary angiogram? A correct answer not stated in the form of a question will be
accepted, however, 100 points will be deducted from the value of the question.
Although we have made every attempt to avoid equivocal or controversial topics, debate over any answers will be
settled by our distinguished professor(s).
Applauding is allowed between questions, however at all other times, the audience must remain quiet.
Any team blurting out an answer without being recognized by the buzzer will lose the number points assigned to that
particular question.
If none of the teams is able to answer, the audience will have their turn
Finally, this competition is for fun and to be used as a learning experience, so good luck!
