Purpose…
Reason for Title Choice

know more about it now and would people reject these people or accept them
instead.

and will the people either help these poor people or not care about them and let
them to suffer.
What is Leprosy???

Leprosy is an infectious disease. If leprosy is not treated, it can cause damage to the skin,
nerve, limps and eyes. LEPROSY DO NOT CAUSE LIMPS TO DROP OFF!!!

It is transmitted by droplets when the victim cough or sneezes

In 1995, it was estimated that 2 to 3 million people were disabled because of Leprosy.

My Interview…
This interview is done between me and my sister because my parents only speak Cantonese….
Interview in progress…
3 Difficulties
1.
My first problem was to think about what type of questions to think out so that I can speak
to the person being interviewed in a more friendly way and people will not think that I am
doing a survey instead.
2.
My second problem was on researching on the subject Leprosy. I did not know what it was
and after seeing those clips and pictures of Leprosy in school, I fear that I might feel
disgusted when I am doing the research so it was quite difficult for me to pick up my
courage and know more about it.
3.
When I was conducting the interview, I only can find my sister to interview as my parents
only speak in Cantonese and it is not easy to translate my questions to Cantonese. When
speaking with my sister, I fear that I might make it so friendly that it might become more
like a conversation then an interview so I figure out some way to do it.
2 Things I Learnt…

When I researched on the subject Leprosy, I was scared that it might turn out disgusting and I
might not feel comfortable about it but actually I realized that it was not that disgusting at all.
Leprosy is not that bad compared to other terminal disease. I learnt that Leprosy was curable
and I was glad that it is not something bad.

I learnt new skills in drafting my questions. I used the 5W1H method can I think it really works
out and I hope by what I have learnt, I can apply it into my comprehension and do better in it
and also my composition. English is not my forte so I hope what I apply will work.
1 Thing In The Future…

I think after doing all my research and interview, I find that I can help people by letting them
be accepted by their society. Some people in school are different from others and people
might not like them, so I hope I can help these people be accepted and tell others that we
cannot be negative about others as other people may feel the same way to you.
THANK YOU!!! :)
