Obtained Viral Hemorrhagic Septicemia Virus (VHSV) permit for
positive cultures.
Prepared for DNR testing – USDA grant for surveillance of VHSV.
Performed viral cell culture transfers and testing
samples for approximately 1 year.
2009 Suspended cell culture testing due to lack of
samples and direction of lab’s role in aquaculture.
2010 Cell culture testing reinstated at the end of the year due to the
formation of the Aquaculture Board.
