Upload from disc to Life Image Upload from disc to Life Image Insert CD in drive and click “Upload exams” button Upload from disc to Life Image Click “Find exams on CD/DVD” Upload from disc to Life Image Select all exams, then click on “Continue” Upload from disc to Life Image Put in MR number Then change upload exams to “Hospital” and click “Upload exams” Nominate from Life Image to PACS Open HOSPITAL InBox Nominate from Life Image to PACS Select each study needed, then select “More” Nominate from Life Image to PACS Click on “PACS” Enter Ordering Physician Confirm MR# Select “Consult” Select “Radiology PACS” You must enter some history Then click “Nominate Exam” Pushing study from Life Image to PACS Pushing study from Life Image to PACS You now have a new tab “WORKLIST” Select “Nominations” Then select the studies you want to push to PACS Pushing study from Life Image to PACS Select “Process” Confirm information, then click “Process” Pushing study from Life Image to PACS Search By “Patient MRN” Then click “Look Up” Radiology orders for that MRN will pop up below. If nothing pops up, there are no orders pending. If an order to read this outside image is active, select it, then click “Continue” Otherwise, click “Send to PACS w/o order” Pushing study from Life Image to PACS Query From: “Radiology PACS” Confirm Patient MRN Then click “Continue” Pushing study from Life Image to PACS If the patient has any images on PACS under this MR number, you will get this message. Confirm the MR number, select “PACS” and “Send to PACS” Destination System: “PACS” Then click “Send to PACS” What if you need an image read by our radiologists? 1. Place an appropriate order in FirstNet Any CT MSK Xrays Any other Xrays Any MRI other than brain/neuro or MSK MSK MRI MRI brain/neuro Nuclear Medicine imaging PET Scan Specials/IR Ultrasound What if you need an image read by our radiologists? 2. Associate order with image during push to PACS If an order to read this outside image is active, select it, then click “Continue” What if you need an image read by our radiologists? 3. Call Radiology Tech at 444-7453 or Film Library at 4442414 to have an Ascension number created to link the order and the image. (It won’t show up in the Radiology reading room queue without this step) 4. Call the Radiology resident at 444-7451 if you need the images read STAT. Otherwise they are at the bottom of the queue. * We are in the process of trying to eliminate having to make a call to have images read. Work in progress.
