One Step Equation
• To solve one step equations, you have to
use the inverse operation to get the
variable alone.
Example:

getting $24.28. How much money did they
find?

• First you do the inverse operation for
addition and subtraction. Then you do the
inverse operation for multiplication or
division.
Example:

she spent $190 on clothes for you, how many jeans and
how many shirts did she buy?
• 2) Flash is 45. He is 15 years older than twice
Spiderman’s age. How old is Spiderman?
• 3) Superman and Superwomen have a combined weight
of 370 pounds. Superwomen weighs 155 pounds less
than twice her Superman’s weight. How much does each
of them weigh?

• Superwomen weighs 175 pounds,
