• Variable – a letter used to represent unspecified
numbers or values.
• Algebraic expression – consists of one or more
numbers and variables along with one or more
arithmetic operations.
• Factors – numbers or variables being multiplied.
• Product – the answer to a multiplication
problem.

• Power – tells how many times the base is
used as a factor.
