Selection
• Musician
• Pros
• Musicians make pretty good money. Also you get
the experience of performing in front of an
audience
• Cons
• Although you would have to spend long hours of
rehearsing and practicing for performances. Also a
lot of the performances are late at night so you will
get very exhausted.
Selection Continued…
• Music Director
• Pros
• It would be great to do all of your work at home.
Also composing music would be a good way to
express yourself. You can also earn a good amount
of money.
• Cons
• It would be very frustrating if you have a slow
computer and you have to type a lot of stuff
everyday. Also if your late with turning in a piece of
music to the company you typed it for then they
probably wont accept it.
Decision
• Based on all the
information my client
would probably like to
be a musician rather
than a music
composer. This is
because he already
knows how to play an
instrument and would
like to take it to the
next level and play in
front of an audience.
Also he thinks that a
musician gets paid
well.
To Get the Job…
• You need a high school diploma
• You need to know how to play
an instrument or control your
vocal range
• You need to join some sort of
club, band, or orchestra
• You could also volunteer to play
at local community arts centers
Continued…
• Depending on what you want to
do as a musician you need a
bachelors degree
• You will also learn to work
together with other people to
make songs sound good
