• Which correctly describes the rule
between x and y as shown in the table?

The answer to this question is y=x*2+1.
How I got my answer
• First I Looked at the chart with the
numbers. Then I tried multiplying the
number in the “x” column by 2. After that I
added the number by 1 and I got the
number in the “y” column.
Homerun (how I know I’m correct
• I know I’m correct because I already knew
that the pattern would have to be the same
in each column.
The pattern is always the same in every
column.
