Definitions:
Mixed Number – Is a number that contains a whole number
greater than one and a fraction.
Terminating Decimals – Are decimals that end or “terminate”.
For example, 3.67 and 4.192 are terminating decimals.
Repeating Decimals – Are decimals that have a block of one or
more digits that repeat without ending. For example, 0.666… or
0.4545… are repeating decimals.
