Ostinato – a repeated pattern that can be tuned or
untuned and forms part of an accompaniment
Pentatonic Scale – a collection of 5 musical notes (if
you start on the note C they would be – C D E G A)

• They improvise, and develop their own musical
compositions, in response to a variety of different
stimuli with increasing personal involvement,
independence and creativity.
