Procedure

Put Acid in Large well A, Base in E
Put straight acid in little well 1
Put straight base in little well 2
Do not touch or mix little wells 1 and 2 again
Use one pipette only for acid
Use one pipette only for base
Use third pipette only for mixing
Have teacher put 2 drops in Universal indicator in
each of the 9 little wells
• Get as many colors from the pH sheet as
possible, preferably in order
• Clean Sepup tray for next group
Observations
• How many of the 12 colors were you able
to achieve. Give the pH numbers of the
colors.
