PROBLEM SOLVING
Everyday Math
teaches students to
develop strategies for
modeling and
managing problems
while understanding
their use in and out of
the classroom.
MATH GOALS
BEGINNING GOALS (B) Students may not be
able to complete work independently. They
show little understanding of the concept or skill.
DEVELOPING GOALS (D) Students show
some understanding. However, errors or
misunderstandings still occur.
SECURE GOALS (S) Students can apply the
skill or concept correctly and independently.

Goal (D/S): Read and write numbers to hundredmillions

Player 1 rolls the dice and writes the digit on any
one of his or her spaces. Player 2 rolls the dice
and does the same thing. Players keep taking
turns until all the spaces are full.

The first 3 spaces are the first 3 digits of your
number. The last digit is how many zeroes are
added to your number.
Remember to read your number when you are
finished!
The player with the highest number and READS it
correctly earns a point.
The player with the most points wins the game.
