• You learned to use me gusta for talking about
what I like to do.
• You learned to use te gusta to say what you like
to do.
• You learned to use le gusta to talk about what
he or she likes to do.
• “Gusta” was followed by a not-conjugated verb.
These verbs always ended in -AR, -ER, or –IR.
• EX: No me gusta correr, me gusta leer!

When you want to emphasize or identify the
person who likes to do something, you use:
name = A Diana, le gusta leer.
(Diana likes to read)
A+
noun = A su hermano, le gusta leer.
(Her brother likes to read)
pronoun = A ella, le gusta leer.
(She likes to read)
A mí, me gusta leer. = I like to read.
A tí, te gusta leer. = You like to read.
