Grammar – Verbs and Tense
• Verbs are doing or action words.
• Perhaps the most important verb in the
English language is the verb "To be."
• English speakers use this verb to express
actions and states of being.
• The verb ‘to be’ can be used in all three
tenses (past, present, and future).
Verb ‘to be’ Present Tense
Here are 3 examples:
1. I (be) am nice.
2. You / We / They are nice.
3. He / She / It is nice.
