• Verb Tense-identifies when something
occurs
• Present Tense-happening now
Ex- Franco cooks breakfast.
• Past Tense-happened before
Ex-Franco cooked breakfast yesterday.
• Future Tense-will happen in the future
Ex-Franco will cook dinner tonight.

To make most verbs singular= add s

Ends with s,x,z,ch or sh= add es

Ends with consonant+y,=change y to I and add

When subject is plural do not change the form

For most verbs add ed (talk-talked)
Short verb ends with consonant, double
end consonant and add ed (bat-batted)
Verb ending in e=add d (hope-hoped)
Verb ends with cons. And y= change y to I
and add ed (marry-married)

• Add will before the verb (run-will run)
