Conditional sentence type 0 is also called
as zero conditional.
[DWS] Conditional Sentences
4
The zero conditional is used to make
statements about the real world, and often
refers to general truths, such as scientific
facts.
[DWS] Conditional Sentences
5
So, this conditional is used when the result
will always happen in present or in the
future.
[DWS] Conditional Sentences
6
The zero conditional is often used to give
instructions. In this case we have to use the
imperative in the main clause.
[DWS] Conditional Sentences
7
Each of conditional sentences consists of
two clauses. Those are called as if clause
and result clause or main clause.
We can form a zero conditional sentence
with two simple present verbs (one in the
'if clause' and one in the 'main clause'):

as first conditional and known as present
real.
[DWS] Conditional Sentences

It's used to talk about things which might

which could easily come true.

For example (zero conditional):
If you sit in the sun, you get burned.
(it is talking about every time a person sits
in the sun - the burning is a natural

If you sit in the sun, you'll get burned
(It is talking about what will happen today,
another day might be different)
