Be careful of spelling changes in third
person singular!
Remember to add ‘s’: she works/ FIAT employs
For to do and to go add ‘es’: She goes to school/ He does his homework.
If the verb ends in ‘y’ like study, try, fly, eliminate the y and add ies:
He studies economy. Alitalia flies to Rome.
Be careful!!! Not all verbs ending in y are changed to ies.
For example: play and stay
She plays tennis. He stays at work late on Monday evenings.
