INFINITIVES
-The most basic form of a verb is called the infinitive
(infinitivo).
-In English, infinitives usually have the word “to” in
front of them:
to swim
to read
to write
-In Spanish, infinitives are only one word, and
always end in –ar, -er, -ir
nadar
leer
escribir
INFINITIVES ACTIVITY
When using the verb “gustar” if you are saying you
like to do something- the 2nd verb will ALWAYS be
in the infinitive.
Example: I like to sing. Me gusta cantar.
If you are saying you like to do something a lot- you
can use the modifier “mucho”
Example: I like to ski a lot. Me gusta mucho
esquiar.
If you are saying you prefer an activity, you can use
the modifier more or “más”
Example: I prefer to read.
Me gusta más leer.
