To form the simple present, use the base form of the verb. In the thirdperson singular (he, she, or it), add –s or –es to the base form.

Have is an irregular verb. The third-person singular form of have is

Stative Verbs and the Simple Present
Stative verbs do not express actions. They express states and conditions such
as physical descriptions, senses, possessions, measurements, feelings, and
knowledge. We often use stative verbs in the simple present to express these
states and conditions.
Descriptions: She looks beautiful.
Senses:
The flowers smell sweet.
Possessions: Joe owns a motorcycle.
Measurements: The book costs $9.95.
Feelings:
I dislike loud music.
Knowledge:
She understands Thai.
