What are Ud. commands?
• An Ud. command is used to tell someone
to do (or not do) something.
– to tell someone to DO something, use an
AFFIRMATIVE command.
– to tell someone to NOT DO something, use a
NEGATIVE command.

To form an affirmative Ud. command:
1. Conjugate the verb in the present
tense yo form.
2. Drop the –o.
