There are two parts of every
sentence...
• Subject
• Predicate
• The Subject of the
sentence tells who,
what, or where the
sentence is about.
• The NOUN is part of
the Subject.
• The Predicate of the
sentence tells what the
Subject is or does.
• The VERB is part of
the Predicate.
Identify the Subject and Predicate
in the following sentences.
My parents work very hard.
The students in this class are real smart.
Your dog bit me!
