All verbs, or action words, in Spanish belong to
a family or conjugation.
We started by studying the verbs whose
infinitive ends in –ar.
There are two other families of verbs, these are
the verbs whose infinitive ends in –er and –ir.
It might sound scary that we need to know more
endings…but somehow these families have
very similar endings when conjugating them,
so don´t worry.

Since the ending of the verb in Spanish
indicates who performs the action, the subject
(yo, tú, él,ella or usted) are often omitted

Verbs whose infinitive ends in -ir differ from –er
verbs only when the subject pronoun is nosotros
and vosotros, thus the vowel of the ending is
changed for an I
