Varying the structure of sentences
• Simple sentences-( a single main clause- as subject and a verb) eg:

• Compound sentence- (2 or more main clauses joined by a
conjunction) eg: It rained on Sunday but it was sunny on Monday
morning!
• Complex sentences- ( a main clause with one or more subordinate
clauses- not making sense on their own) eg: Although it rained, we
still enjoyed the walk.
ALWAYS ESTABLISH THE SIMPLE SENTENCE FIRST.
