Present Simple - Use
• Actions that are repeated, routines:
“ I go to school every day”
• Facts, things that everyone knows:
“ Penguins swim very fast”
• Feelings and emotions, stative verbs:
“ Dafna hates her job”
Present Simple - Form
Normally just add NOTHING to the verb:
“ We work in the city.”
BUT for “he / she / it” add letter - S in the end:
“ She works in the city.”
“He works in the bank.”
“ It works!”

Present Simple - Negative
Normally add helping verb don’t :
“ We don’t work in the zoo.”
BUT for “he / she / it” add doesn’t :
“ She doesn’t work in the zoo.”
“He doesn’t work at school.”
“ It doesn’t work!”
Present Simple - Questions
Helping verb jumps into the first place:
“ Does she work in the hospital?”
“ Does he live in this city?”
“ Do you like milk chocolate?”
“ Do they play basketball on Tuesdays?”
The main verb doesn’t change!
