THE PRESENT
PERFECT TENSE
 Formação:

Have ou Has + particípio passado do verbo principal
Afirmativa :
 He has left. (Ele saiu.)
 They have arrived. (Eles chegaram.)
 Interrogativa:
 Has he left?
 Negativa:
 He has not left ou He hasn’t left.

Fill in with the Present Perfect Tense of the verb
in parentheses. Consult the list of verbs, if
necessary.








Simple Past
I lived here for five years. (Eu morei aqui durante cinco anos)
Frase com since (desde) → Present Perfect
I have lived here since 2005.

Frase com FOR (durante, por)
Se for uma ação começada no passado
prolongando-se até o presente → Present Perfect
 I have studied here for 5 years.

Se for uma ação começada e terminada no
passado → Simple past
 I studied here for five years. Now I am studying
at the University.

Already and Yet
 Afirmativa → already (já)
 I have already studied.

Negativa → yet (ainda)
 I haven’t studied yet.

Interrogativa → already or yet (já)
 Have you studied yet?
 Have you already studied?


