THE PRESENT
PERFECT TENSE
Formação:
Have ou Has + particípio passado do verbo principal
Afirmativa :
He has left. (Ele saiu.)
They have arrived. (Eles chegaram.)
Interrogativa:
Has he left?
Negativa:
He has not left ou He hasn’t left.
Fill in with the Present Perfect Tense of the verb
in parentheses. Consult the list of verbs, if
necessary.

Frase com since (desde) → Present Perfect
I have lived here since 2005.
Frase com FOR (durante, por)
Se for uma ação começada no passado
prolongando-se até o presente → Present Perfect
I have studied here for 5 years.
Se for uma ação começada e terminada no
passado → Simple past
I studied here for five years. Now I am studying
at the University.
Already and Yet
Afirmativa → already (já)
I have already studied.
Negativa → yet (ainda)
I haven’t studied yet.
Interrogativa → already or yet (já)
Have you studied yet?
